SO CALLED "RECORD HOLDERS" & other attempts
Several people have said they they have walked the entire coastline in one walk, but following investigation this is not true! One walker did a major section each year for four years. On questioning I found he hadn't done it. He took a ferry across Poole Harbour claiming it was an inland waterway! No so, I did a 70 mile walk around it!
In the Sun on Friday May 9th, a report stated that Megan Broxall and run around the coastline of Britain - 5,240 miles in 200 days - a marathon a day Not so the coastline of Britain is 6,100 miles!
If you are going to do do it, do it right.
